I grew up in a Christian home where my family did full-time music ministry in churches all over the U.S. My parents taught me the truth of the gospel from a young age. When I was about to turn 5 years old, I was told the gospel again from my mom, realized my sin, repented, and trusted in Jesus Christ as Lord. From that time on I have grown to understand more deeply the seriousness of my sin, the graciousness of my Lord, and the certainty of my hope in Christ! I praise the Lord that by His sovereign will He saved me by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. To this day I seek to serve Him with my whole life through the preaching of the gospel, killing sin by the work of the Spirit and filling myself with the Word of God, and obeying my Lord as a demonstration of my adoration of Him.
In 2009 I went on my first missions trip and was introduced to OAC style evangelism. While naturally I was very shy, this experience began God’s wonderful work of transforming me into a bold proclaimer of God’s glorious gospel. In 2011 I began an internship for 3 years with OAC, learning the practical aspects of regular ministry. Though eventually leaving to continue my theological education, OAC was always in the back of my mind. I never stopped using the sketch board or teaching others to evangelize. I served for over three years in youth ministry, teaching students to know the Word of God and share the message of reconciliation. In 2019, I married the love of my life, Tasia.
Tasia was born in Vylkove, Ukraine, and was put into an orphanage at the age of 8. While an orphan, Christians would come to the orphanage and share the gospel with her and the other orphans, but she did not respond to the gospel until the age of 16. At the age of 15, Tasia was adopted into a Christian family in the U.S. After being in America for over a year and hearing the gospel from her parents, she trusted in Jesus Christ and repented of her sins, realizing she was a sinner and needed Christ. Together we desire to serve the Lord in ministry, having a passion for missions and the evangelization of the world. Now after years of church ministry and education, receiving a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College and an M.A. in Christian Ministry from Liberty, my wife and I have returned to OAC by the grace of God, continuing the work of making disciples of all nations.
