John and Kara Suhoney are parishioners at Lance Evangelical Free Church in Lance Pennsylvania. Kara works at a Dry Ice plant called Continental Carbonics and John has departed with the State Department of Corrections following the closure of Quehanna Bootcamp and is now working part-time with Walmart doing overnight stocking.

John and Kara have been doing discipleship with OAC staff Chip and Kim Wolfe and have been blessed to be taken under their wing. They have been involved in their local body, Kara with ladies’ fellowship on Wednesday’s and John with men’s breakfast and both in various capacities. They have been working towards the goal of getting on staff full time and have been going through a lot of changes. They recently closed on a house closer to church and ministry, the mortgage is half as much as their last house which is currently for sale. They’re excited to see what all the Lord has in store for them and are eager to further His Kingdom.

John and Kara came on staff in April 2026. John will be serving in the Central Pennsylvania Branch with Branch Director, Zane Dempsie, and fellow OAC associate Chip Wolfe.
