Erin trusted Christ shortly after her high school graduation and in college joined Christian Action Fellowship (now known as Chi Alpha), where God used involvement in student-led Bible studies to facilitate her understanding of repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Within the first year of being saved, she joined an evangelism team at her local church, and has since participated with committed evangelism teams in colleges and on the streets in the places the Lord has moved her, including North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Thailand, and now New York. She is currently a member of Calvary Chapel Greece in the Rochester, New York area, where she has periodically served in Children’s Church, VBS, and AWANA, using the sketchboard in evangelism and discipleship. She participates in evangelistic outreach throughout Rochester and surrounding areas and uses the sketchboard for kids’ clubs in city and county parks.
Erin has taught English to international students, primarily at the college level, since 1994 and also works as a Scoring Leader for Educational Testing Service’s TOEFLiBT. Outside and related interests include gardening, running, reading, hiking, eating very spicy papaya salad (som tham), learning foreign languages, and meeting people from different countries.
She participated in our OAC sketchboard evangelism seminar in the Boston area in 2009 and is currently continuing outreach and ministry in the greater Rochester area while pursuing ongoing evangelism with our OAC New York City staff.
