The Mid-Michigan Branch has been in operation since 2010. How to reach the lost on “their turf”? This is the challenge. Outreach locations look different in rural areas than they might in high-residential areas. God has opened some unique opportunities here in Michigan. Branch Director, Brian Harmon, and staff evangelist, Mike Wilson work closely with many local churches in the mid-Michigan area. We lead 5-Day kid’s clubs in neighborhoods, take church teams to NYC/Boston/DC, provide evangelism training for churches/youth groups/and individuals, preach in churches and at Christian camps, block parties, city outreaches and festivals, we represent OAC at mission conferences. Starting every Fall, we have 3 colleges we go to every week (MSU, CMU, WMU). We routinely have local believers and campus ministries join us at these college outreaches. During the school year, we partner with 11 churches in 5 locations to lead 10 public Jr/Sr high school Bible clubs each week. We meet in these schools during the lunch hours. We have other public high school opportunities in this area on hold. We need more laborers. Bible believing, gospel preaching churches… OAC recognizes that God has established the church. We love being a part of what God is doing in and through these local bodies.
