Dave and Joy have been missionaries with Open Air Campaigners since 1985. He was born in Jersey City and raised in Holmdel, New Jersey. Through the witness of a Christian National Guardsman and the ministry of Lincroft Bible Church, David was saved at the age of 28.
Joy was born and raised in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. While a student nurse, she was led to Christ by the Pastor of the North Waverly Chapel in Waverly, New York.
David and Joy met at Word of Life Bible Institute in 1980 and married after graduation. David graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1984 with a BA in Religious Education as a Pastoral Studies Major. After moving to New Jersey in 1984, David was ordained, joined Open Air Campaigners. He served as an evangelist in the New York / New Jersey Branch for several years and moved to Pennsylvania in 1999 to be part of the Philadelphia Branch of OAC.
